Practical Parent Education's Strong-Willed Child Program is a one-day interactive workshop designed to create an in-depth understanding of the behavioral characteristics of the strong-willed child while developing a game plan to create the best practices to influence the environment to accommodate the uniqueness of these children.
This training will include:
- Understanding strong-willed temperament
- The art of "reframing" negative behaviors
- Identifying effective behavior management strategies
- Understanding difference between change and management of behavior
- Recognize the impact sensory issues play with strong-willed children
- The importance of changing perspective
- Equip educators with a 4-week series
- Great for staff development hours
- Title I and Title III compliant
Requirements:
- Strong-Willed Child Training requires a minimum of 12 participants. Class size is limited to 25.

- Cost for this one day workshop is:
- $395 for PPE Members* (+travel expenses if not local).
- $495 for Non-PPE Members (+travel expenses if not local).
*A PPE Member is a PPE-licensed facilitator who has completed the PPE Initial 2-day Parent Engagement training.
